Description
C.J. Ashford is a British artist who was born in 1919 and is still (2015) painting. In 2010, he was elected Vice President of the Guild of Aviation Artists and was one of their founder members. His speciality is painting aircraft and he has paintings in the Royal Air Force Museum and Yorkshire Air museum. However, he also has a considerable reputation as a maritime artist. This work is one of a pair, the download for the companion pitce “LUSITANIA” is already available. Both ideal for framing.
